Level 3: This diploma typically corresponds to GSCE and/or first year Advanced level (A Levels) course. It is the entry-level diploma qualification to enter a UK university at the foundation year/level.
Level 4: This diploma corresponds to the first year of a three-year undergraduate degree program. With a level 4 diploma, students can progress straight to the first year in a UK university or a level 5 diploma with us.
Level 5: This diploma corresponds to the second year of a three-year undergraduate degree program. With a level 5 diploma, students can progress to the third year in a UK university for a top up degree. They can also achieve the level 6 diploma with us.
Level 6: This diploma corresponds to the third year of a three-year undergraduate degree program. A level 6 diploma is equivalent to a university undergraduate degree. Students can progress to a master’s postgraduate program in a UK university.
Level 7: This is equivalent to a master’s degree.
PVG Training is in the process of establishing agreed partnerships with the following UK universities for a guaranteed progression for our students to study various courses with them. Through this, a graduate of PVG Training would have in place a seamless process of admission and progression to study at our partner universities in the UK.

⦁ THE DIPLOMA PACKAGE - this is your chosen diploma course (subject and level), which runs for 6 – 9 months, depending on the level of your course.
⦁ EMPLOYABILITY PACKAGE - in addition to the diploma courses, we equip our learners with the required skills, knowledge, and certification to work in various sectors in the UK and especially in the healthcare sector as health care assistants and support workers.
These training courses are duly certificated, and they include:
⦁ Mandatory Training: This covers a broad range of essential training elements that all carers are required to complete before they can work in the health and social care sector in the UK. Some of the topics include manual handling, fire safety, health and safety, infection control, loan working, food safety, medication management, dementia awareness, and safeguarding vulnerable adults and children etc.
⦁ Care Certificate Training: Equivalent to a level 2 certificate/diploma in the UK, this detailed training comprises of the necessary skills, knowledge, and behaviour to provide safe and high-quality compassionate care in the workplace. The Care Certificate is a vital part of training and development for those who are new to health and social care or new staff who already work in the sector.
⦁ Prevent Training: This training is designed to help implement the Prevent duty. It offers an introduction to the Prevent duty and explains how it aims to safeguard vulnerable people from being radicalised to supporting terrorism or becoming terrorists themselves.
⦁ Employability Skills: This training will build the skills and confidence you need to create a great impression with your employer, showcase your experiences and successfully apply for a job.
All students progressing to study in the UK are strongly encouraged to choose this package which entitles them to support from PVG Training UK with reference and DBS.
⦁ JOB PLACEMENT/WORK EXPERIENCE PACKAGE- we encourage students aspiring to study further in the UK to engage in the job placement and work experience package. This will make it easy to facilitate the reference and DBS process in the UK.
⦁ PERSONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM – this mandatory short course is aimed at equipping all our learners with very essential skills, knowledge, values and ethics to be a responsible, successful, and outstanding individual.
⦁ UNIVERSITY PROGRESSION SUPPORT: On completion of the diploma courses, we support students in putting together a portfolio for application to Universities in the UK and any of our partner Universities.
⦁ IN COUNTRY (NIGERIA) DISTANCE LEARNING TOP UP DEGREES – this is primarily for learners interested in achieving British qualifications while remaining in the country. These are top up qualifications with our partner UK University of Bolton and WINC at very affordable fee.
⦁ PASTORAL CARE TEAM – there is provision of robust and holistic pastoral care and support to every learner who may need counselling, advice, guidance, encouragement and varied support with academic and life issues.
Teaching Delivery: Our classes will largely be delivered on-site at the PVG Training Nigeria College ground. The teachings will take place online with our UK based teaching and academic professionals connecting live and engaging with our students in the e-classroom.
Engagement: Students are expected to join the class and engage with the teaching and their tutors in their respective classrooms for their subjects at the designated day and time promptly.
Attendance: a minimum of 80% attendance is required to pass any of our courses and achieve the certification.
Timeline: Our diploma courses are typically designed to be completed within 9 to 12 months. However, some of the courses can be completed with the fast-track flex delivery structure within 6 months. This applies to students who study on a full-time basis with 100% focused commitment and dedication.
Assessment: The diploma assessment is largely based on coursework and class presentations. Before a certificate is issued, student assessment work is subjected to both internal and external verification.
Admission requirements: While there are specific admission criteria for different courses and levels, the minimum requirements are at least a grade C in Maths and English at WAEC/NECO.
